La Patacona beach is one of the beaches of Alboraya, a municipality to which Port Saplaya belongs, where our apartments are located on the seafront.
La Patacona is a large beach, with a length of more than 1,000 metres and an average width of 100 metres.
As it is an urban beach, it has many services . In addition, it has obtained various quality and environmental certificates. Its proximity to the city of Valencia makes it one of the most popular in the area, although less touristy than its neighbouring beach, La Malvarrosa.
The promenade at Patacona beach is always quite busy as the Valencian coast has moderate temperatures all year round. It is not unusual to find people dancing salsa, groups of friends playing volleyball and much more.
This promenade is full of a great gastronomic offer , with places where you can enjoy a good breakfast or snack such as La Más Bonita, and others where you can try traditional cuisine of the highest quality, such as Casa Carmela.
The beach, with fine sand and perfect Mediterranean waters, is the ideal place to practice different water sports such as paddle surfing.
On the other hand, it is a beach accessible to people with reduced mobility and, during bathing season, has trained personnel to make the experience of these people on a day at the beach more pleasant.
As for connections and ways of accessing it, La Patacona beach is easily accessible both with your own vehicle and by public transport. There are different bus lines , such as line 31, which connect the city of Valencia with the beach.
Despite being an urban beach belonging to Alboraya, it is on the limits of the city of Valencia. However, with a short walk it is possible to get there from Port Saplaya (crossing the Valencian orchard and the Ermita dels Peixets ) in about 30 minutes or by car in about 15 minutes.
